A shady figure

Tamil watches the travellers enter the bar, her face passive and her right eyebrow raised slightly. The noises of the tavern seemed hushed, as if someone was gagging the lot of them. Tamil sighed fingering an empty glass, waiting for nothing in particular.

A shady figure walks in, hooded and cloaked.
"I am looking for lodgings for three days and three nights" he whispers coarsely, from behind a thick head bandage.

Tamil nodded and reached down for the large leather bound sign-in book for the inn.
"We have a room down the hall, number 309, which is open. You may take that." she paused, looking at the stranger. "May I ask what you might be doing here? Just out of curiosity..."

A cloaked woman walks in. She walks towards Tamil. She has a pretty and kind face. "Excuse me, are there any rooms still free?"

Tamil turned to the new woman. "There are a few free ones, though I can't garuntee any quality. If you want one, you will have to take the stairs down at the other side of this room. Go down that hallway and the third room on your right should have the number 009 carved into it somewhere. That one is open. Small, but open,' she paused, "and would you like that one? if so, what be your name?"

The woman says. "Well as long as it's clean and has a good bed it's fine. My name is Tara."

The next day she comes walking to Tamil again, saying: "Thanks for the bath and the bed, I'm going again. How much does it cost?"

After Tamils reply Tara lays the money on the table.
"Thank you and good luck with your inn." She says and she goes outside.

2003-12-25 [xido]: I'd love to know the players/chars involved in this, and ask that you post them at the top of the page, before the HR. Also, if that shady figure would like to RP a job for me, I have an idea. Thanks! -will x.o

2003-12-26 [xido]: just act as though she's already accepted. I've seen it, and I always let players post even if they haven't been officially accepted. But you must be waiting for a page name, huh? Or are you not the shady figure above? It sais HE. I need a guy to play a part in another campaign of mine....I'll start the NPC version of him here soon, and if anyone could play him, that'd be great.

2003-12-26 [Blood Raven]: Uhm... well it's no me, my char's fmale. I could play your NPC for you, if I know what to do

2003-12-26 [xido]: ok......see dreams_cozy_cotage and the Market....he's the brown-robed guy, looking for Lian, under the instruction of Mirriam, a childhood friend of Lian's. Message [Silent Dream] for details about her chars, and message me afterwards for details about the man.

2003-12-26 [Blood Raven]: that's the quest?

2003-12-26 [xido]: well, the quest is that Mirriam and Lian will meet again, but I wanted to have a friend of Mirriam's helping out in finding Lian at first, and if you want to get more involved, you can, or you can leave after they've met up....I run the games that she plays in, and they will journey soon, but Lian wants to learn about her past, and Mirriam is the key to that happening.

2003-12-26 [xido]: other chars in that are Opal CHAR, Gwyn, and my own, Dtalk. They have helped me protect the village of Irrundanil from the Kieen army, and they RP at Aces, a music club in Irrundanil, among others. We're currently at Dtalk's father, Vestahl's home.

2003-12-26 [Blood Raven]: mh.. so basicly I come here, i get the quest, i find Lian, bring her to Mirriam and I'm done?

2003-12-26 [xido]: If that's your dish, that's it....if it interests you further, you're more than welcome to come along for the ride. I've made no real details about this man, other than that he wears brown robes.....he's currently just come back to the Shady Inn to get a room....Room 106.

2003-12-26 [xido]: Read Dtalk's diary too!!!! (shameless self-promotion) Tanuul's in there, too, when Dtalk visits the inn to consult him for advice and info about strangers in town.

2003-12-26 [Blood Raven]: so the robed guy up there in a robe is a NPC and i can take him over any time? Why do I have to play it with a guy anyway? *bit confuzzled*

2003-12-26 [xido]: yes.....well, only because it is a man that walks up to her cottage to seek her out for Mirriam then leaves. If you want to use Tara instead, that will be fine, but I'll have to change it, and tell SD about the plan....she doesn't know I'm putting in another char at this point.

2003-12-26 [Blood Raven]: o you already agreed a char would come at the door to bring her to Mirriam? Okay, I'll play the robed guy then. Where could I find Lian? And where Mirriam?

2003-12-26 [xido]: Mirriam hasn't entered RP yet, but will soon....Lian is currently at Aces (at night), or Vestahl's home (in the day....right now) She lives at her cozy cottage normally....that's where the robed guy visited already, as well as the market...which someone posted on...it might be her....I'll check.

2003-12-27 [Blood Raven]: just tell me where I can find Lian, then tell me where Mirriam is a robbed guy will bring her. And a chronologic report of where robbed guy has been in his search would be nice.

2003-12-27 [xido]: Go ahead and just play Tara. I'll stick with this guy. I've already got him here in a room. Mirriam hasn't been played yet at all, and Lian is with my characters. She's RPing both the day and night of the present day in RP....Vestahl's home during the day, and at Aces later the same night. You could find her at both right now, but we're keeping busy, and at both places. He's only been RPed on two wikis beside here at the tavern....Lian's cottage, then passing through the market, to end up here. I'll post some more for him, and if you really want to, you can pick him up when you've got the hang of what's going on.

2003-12-27 [Blood Raven]: okay. I'll come by this tavern with Tara then and you drag me in and let the barmaiden tell the whole problem. Does Tara need to be accepted for this or can I just come now?

2004-01-01 [xido]: Excellent......Room 106 Have fun....and you can make a whole char page for him if he makes an interesting Char. She'll probably ask what you're doing, but just tell her I've got it all under control. And therian is a female in real life and on here quite often.

2004-01-02 [xido]: Then you have to leave Mirriam....which might be a friend of Robin's if you'd like....you may just enjoy RPing with them....unless you prefer being female......? No, you haven't found Lian yet.....find her at Aces, but make it realistic.....ask around the wikis...I monitor many of them.

2004-01-05 [xido]: no, you have to cast a very detailed and technical spell that includes the ritual cleansing of the blood, then you have to contact Hedda personally, and ask permission before making one.
